KALABAKA’S LIBRARY
Kalabaka’s Library belongs to the Educational, Literary and Cultural Urban Non-Profit Company of Kalabaka, which was founded in 2012 by Katerina – Diana Dimoula – Merriam, an expatriate from Lowell, Massachusetts.
The Library is a key point of knowledge and creativity for the region of Meteora and with a nationwide scope, in the axis of operation Education-Access-Opportunity for all.
Since its opening on July 19, 2015, the Library has been charting an ever-evolving course with original ideas, “green” architecture, extroversion towards new technologies and quality value-added services, attracting new readers and redefining the concept of the action of modern libraries in the scattered communities of Meteora and the Internet.
It implements a Quality Management System according to the standard EN ISO 9001: 2015, while with the fiber optic technology ensures higher connection speeds with friends and partners in every part of the world.
