MUSEUM OF GREEK EDUCATION

The Museum of Greek Education has an educational and cultural orientation and aspires to bring the visitor in contact with Greek letters and Greek culture.

 

Collections and interactive halls:

  • Old classroom with desks, maps of the time, plaques, funds, fountain pens and inkwells.
  • Books and objects of school life from the establishment of the new Greek state until today.
  • Authentic editions of works by ancient Greek authors (1500-1830)
  • Aesop’s Hall (storytelling and display of myths)
  • Experiment and game hall
  • Meteora Hall (geological phenomenon)
  • Exhibition on the Revolution of 1821 (maps, pictures, textbooks, posters)
