TOWN HALL

The town hall is the link for a town that has adopted many names during its time and history. The ancient ‘’Aeginion’’ in the Byzantine years, was renamed ‘’Stagoi’’. The name Kalabaka has been used since the years of Ottoman rule and the hegemony of Sultan Vayazit II, which comes from the word ‘’Kalebak’’ meaning nice fortress.

The town hall is located at a junction, consisting of six roads, a reference point for visitors and of significant commercial value for the town. It is the compass in various directions with the ‘’INFO TOURIST OFFICE’’ of the municipality to be the guide for thousands of visitors.
